Missed Your Theodore Roosevelt Passport Stamp?

Theodore Roosevelt National Park has passport cancellation stamps at the South Unit Visitor Center in Medora, the Painted Canyon Visitor Center along I-94, and the North Unit Visitor Center near Watford City. Each unit is separate — the North and South Units are about 70 miles apart with no connecting road through the park.

A missed national park stamp from Theodore Roosevelt commonly happens to I-94 travelers who stop at Painted Canyon Overlook for the view and photo opportunity but do not enter the small visitor center building. The South Unit in Medora has the most comprehensive facilities, but visitors often drive the scenic loop road and hike without stopping in town.
