Missed Your Redwood National Park Passport Stamp?

Redwood National Park has passport cancellation stamps at the Thomas H. Kuchel Visitor Center in Orick, the Crescent City Information Center, the Hiouchi Visitor Center near Jedediah Smith Redwoods, and the Prairie Creek Visitor Center. The park is actually a patchwork of national and state park lands stretching along 40 miles of Northern California coastline.

A missing national park cancellation from Redwood is common because the parks span such a large area and Highway 101 runs through them without any entrance gate or fee. Many visitors stop at one or two groves — Stout Grove, Lady Bird Johnson Grove, or Fern Canyon — without realizing where the visitor centers are located. The Kuchel center in Orick is the primary national park stamp location, but visitors coming from the north may only pass through Crescent City.
