Mount Rainier National Park Passport Cancellation Stamps

Mount Rainier National Park has passport cancellation stamps at the Henry M. Jackson Visitor Center at Paradise, the Longmire Museum near the Nisqually entrance, the Sunrise Visitor Center (summer only), and the Ohanapecosh Visitor Center in the southeast corner. Each area may carry a different cancellation stamp design — some of these qualify as secret national park cancellation stamps since most visitors only visit Paradise.

A missing national park cancellation from Mount Rainier is common because the Paradise area draws over two million visitors annually, and the parking lot often fills before 10 AM on summer weekends. If you hiked the Skyline Trail or photographed wildflower meadows, you may have spent your entire visit outdoors without entering the visitor center. The Sunrise Visitor Center is only open July through September and closes when the road becomes impassable due to snow.
