Crater Lake National Park provides passport cancellation stamps at the Steel Visitor Center near park headquarters on the south side of the lake, and at the Rim Village information desk during summer months. The Steel Visitor Center is open year-round and is the most reliable stamp location.
A missing national park cancellation from Crater Lake is common because the park has extreme seasonal access. The Rim Drive and North Entrance are closed from approximately October through June due to heavy snowfall, and visitors who enter from the north during summer may never pass the Steel Visitor Center on the south side. If you drove the Rim Drive and only stopped at overlooks, you may have bypassed both stamp locations entirely.
